Privacy Policy

Growify Apps ("we", "our", or "us") builds Shopify applications including (but not limited to) Cart Upsell – You May Also Like (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when merchants install and use our App.

1. Information we collect

When you install and use the App, we may access and store the following information:

  • Store information: store name, store domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com), store ID.
  • Authentication information: an access token provided by Shopify (stored securely).
  • Product information (read-only): product IDs, variant IDs, titles, and metadata required for selection and display.
  • App configuration: settings you save (selected products, order, section title, styling preferences).

We do not collect or store customer payment information (credit card data), customer passwords, or Shopify admin credentials.

2. How we use information

We use the information only to provide and improve the App, including:

  • Authenticating your store and maintaining secure sessions
  • Allowing you to select upsell products and displaying them in the cart
  • Saving/loading per-store configuration
  • Providing support and troubleshooting when requested

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We only share information when necessary to operate the App, such as with Shopify APIs and hosting infrastructure providers.

4. Data storage and security

We take reasonable measures to protect data, including secure hosting, restricted access, and validating Shopify webhooks (HMAC verification).

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the App. When you uninstall the App, we remove access tokens and app configuration data within a reasonable period.

6. Your rights

You may request information about stored shop data or request deletion by contacting us.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
